Dr. Sherman is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Sherman understands that vein problems are not the same for every patient. Some people seek treatment because of aching, swelling, heaviness, fatigue, or prominent varicose veins, while others are primarily concerned about the appearance of spider veins and other visible vessels. His approach begins with identifying the underlying problem and understanding each patient’s therapeutic needs, lifestyle, and aesthetic goals.

When appropriate, diagnostic vascular ultrasound can be used to evaluate circulation and determine whether visible veins or leg symptoms may be associated with underlying venous disease.
