About Dr. James Sherman
Dr. Sherman was born and raised in Augusta, GA, and attended the University of the South in Sewanee, TN where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honors society. After completing his undergraduate degree he matriculated to the Medical College of Georgia to receive his medical degree where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors fraternity. He finished his residency at MCG and started practicing in general surgery in 1992 when he joined the Augusta Surgical Group that his uncle Dr. Harry Sherman helped found. Meet Chyvonne Perryman
Our Registered Vascular Specialist, has been employed with Vein Specialists of Augusta for over 13 years and has 35 years of experience in imaging accuracy and diagnostic interpretation of blood flow and anatomy in relation to hemodynamics and function. Chyvonne is instrumental in providing a quantitative and qualitative recording of the lower extremity.
What is a RVS?
A Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) is a medical ultrasound professional who assists cardiologists and other physicians in diagnosing patients’ heart and blood vessel function conditions. Chyvonne Perryman provides treatment for certain vein diseases and conditions alongside our Vascular Surgeon Dr. James Sherman.
